  What to Give for Christmas
Do you have someone in your life who has everything? Do you and your family want a less materialistic holiday this year? Consider making a special donation to the church as a gift to your loved ones. Pastor Leslie will gladly write a personalized note letting your loved one know that a financial gift was given to the church in their honor this Christmas.
  Our Mitten Tree
This year Olivet members and visitors alike will be adorning our Mitten Tree with scarves, hats, gloves, and mittens for Children AND Adults in need. Please consider donating child, youth, and adult sized items for those in need in the greater Norristown area.
  Multi-Church Ecumenical MLK Day Service
Olivet and its ecumenical partner churches are cooperating for the first-ever Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day service on Sunday January 20th at 7:00pm.
The service will be held at Bethel Hill UMC, and attended by members from our annual ecumenical Lenten services. Olivet's own Rev. Leslie Mamas will help lead worship. Mark your calendars now, and contact the church office if you are interested in singing in the mass choir.

  Incase of Inclement Weather
Check the Olivet Facebook page for details of services during any Winter Storm situations this season.

At Olivet-Schwenkfelder you will find an Open and Affirming community of faith, welcoming all people into the full life and ministry of the church—without regard to race, gender, or sexual orientation. We strive to proclaim God’s love as shown to us through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while growing in faith, fellowship and humble service to others.

We gather together as a Christian community to glorify God, to pray and praise God, to learn and nurture our faith, and to support and love one another. To listen to others and be aware of the moment and the events of the day, so we do not miss the opportunity to serve God!
