Outreach & Service

Friedens “Missions R Us” Team fundraises and organizes mission trips and activities both near and far. We have sponsored and participated in several trips to Haiti, New Orleans, Back Bay Mission in Mississippi, Heifer Project International, and to RE-MEMBER on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Our Mission team went to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi in September 2023 for a week of volunteer service and is already planning a return trip in 2024.

We have in the past help prepare and serve an evening meal for the needy at Trinity UCC in Pottstown, as well as, prepare and serve a meal at the First Monday Community Meal in Pennsburg.
