The Rev. Julie Hart
The Rev. Julie Hart, “Pastor Julie” is serving Grace as the Interim Pastor during the current Pastoral Vacancy. She is a graduate of the Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg (now United Lutheran Seminary). Pastor Julie has served both as a full time Pastor in Lutheran parishes in the Midwest and PA., as well as Pastoral Interim Ministry in PA. She retired in 2008 but came out of retirement to serve Grace Lutheran Church, as part time Interim. Pastor Julie is also trained for Intentional Interim Ministry which brings special skills to help congregations in a Pastoral Vacancy.
David A. Nicholson
Music director and organist at Grace, was originally from western Pennsylvania and lived in York County since 1972. A 1970 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was the Director of Secondary Choral Music in the Southern York County School District for 30 years. Additionally, he was involved in all aspects of church music in several York area churches for over 40 years. Dave now makes his home in Wittman, and enjoys working with the staff and members of Grace.
Felice Scher
Our office administrator, Felice, is a former (but really forever) New Yorker, having grown up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She's lived on the Eastern Shore, mostly in Talbot County, for 30 years. She's the mother of Tom who lives with his young family in Newark, DE. And most thrillingly she's a first-time grandmother (of Dahlia)! Felice worked for many years in the fields of human services and education, along with other local non-profits. She volunteers in the community with various organizations and loves working at Grace, but more importantly, the people of Grace.
