Staff & Leadership
The Rev. Karen E. Larson
has been the pastor of Grace since September of 2012. Originally from New England, she has relocated to Easton after living in southeast Pennsylvania for over 20 years. A graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, with an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University (Delaware), Pastor Karen loves to explore with others the healing presence of God in everyday life, and the ways in which we participate in gracious living.
David A. Nicholson
Music director and organist at Grace, was originally from western Pennsylvania and lived in York County since 1972. A 1970 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was the Director of Secondary Choral Music in the Southern York County School District for 30 years. Additionally, he was involved in all aspects of church music in several York area churches for over 40 years. Dave is relocating to the eastern shore, making his home in Wittman, and is looking forward to working with the staff and members of Grace.
Felice Scher
We welcome our new office administrator Felice Scher to GLC. Felice is a former (but really forever) New Yorker, having grown up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, but has lived on the Eastern Shore, mostly in Talbot County, for 30 years. She's the mother of Tom who lives with his young family in Newark, DE. And most thrillingly she's a first-time grandmother (of Dahlia)! Felice joins us after many years in the fields of human services and education, along with other local non-profit organizations. Recently she's been volunteering at Talbot Humane Society's Head to Tail Thrift and Vintage Shop, Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival, and Habitat for Humanity Choptank ReStore.
