NEWS  &  NOTES
  The Mitten Tree is Back!
Decorate our Mitten Tree with mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for families who could use help during our cold Minnesota winter. The items will be collected on December 13th and distributed by the Salvation Army.
  Wednesday Morning Bible Study
All are welcome to join us for Wednesday Morning Bible Study at 9:30 am. We explore the wonders of the Bible. Through December 22nd our Advent study is: "Making Room: Sharing the Love of Christmas".
  Church Gatherings Update
Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, we are asking that you refrain from shaking hands during our time together. Also, we are adjusting how the offering will be collected. Following the sermon we will have a time for reflecting on what we will offer to the end of the service you may place your offering in the plate by the rear door. Due to the increase in Covid 19 cases the church council strongly recommends wearing a mask in church except when eating or drinking.

OUR CHURCH
Welcome to the United Protestant Church. From our founding in 1954, we have been an interdenominational church and today we represent five denominations. The commitment to unity that marked the beginning of our church continues to inspire us today. We seek to be engaged followers of Christ, recognizing that while the Church is amazingly diverse we can still remain united in our love of God, neighbor and each other. We believe you’ll find UPC to be a community that is striving to be faithful, dedicated to care, open to questions, and a place where people simply enjoy being together. We hope you’ll consider visiting so that we may welcome you in person!
