St. John's (Gernant's) Church

St. John’s Gernant’s UCC and Lutheran Church have been worshipping and serving in our region since 1794. In December 2012, St. John's Gernant's United Church of Christ and Lutheran Church congregations have agreed to become a shared ministry congregation which means one minister and one service. Here you will find an inter-generational community, with programs and activities for all ages. The hospitality is warm and the people are friendly. We gather for worship every Sunday morning and offer Church School programs for all ages. St. John’s also has a youth and confirmation program, along with many opportunities for volunteering and service to others. At St. John’s we believe that building community is far more important than religiosity. So, come be challenged and refreshed, and find a place where YOU can make a difference in the world.
